2023 Cabernet Sauvignon — 93 Points, Wine Enthusiast

2023 Cabernet Sauvignon, 93 Points; From veteran winemaker Don Brady comes this delicious bottling, full of roasted red cherry, milk chocolate, and purple flower aromas on the nose. The palate is clean and precise, pairing a rich core of dark berry with more cocoa and a pinch of pepper. Matt Kettmann, Wine Enthusiast

Brady Cabernet Sauvignon shows its strength from the first pour, deep crimson in color, full of ripe blackberry, currant, and cassis, with a touch of toasted vanilla and spice from the barrel. On the palate, it’s rich and layered, yet smooth enough to drink now. Firm tannins, balanced acidity, and a hint of oak give it that backbone Brady wines are known for, big, bold, and full-bodied, with nothing fussy about it.

PAIRINGS:

Brady Cabernet Sauvignon is built for real life, as at home on a white-linen table as it is beside the grill. Big flavor, firm structure, and balance make it just as good on its own as it is paired with a grilled steak, roast duck, or slow-braised short ribs. It stands up beautifully to sharp cheeses and rich sauces without losing its edge. A Cabernet with backbone and soul, ready when you are, no cellaring required.

The Brady Vineyard is ideally situated for world class viticulture. Located far enough inland from the Pacific Ocean to build heat daily, but still close enough to enjoy the nightly cooling of maritime breezes. Here the vines seek out nutrients and water in the meager rocky soils overlooking the Estrella River. These elements combine to result in rich, fully-ripened grapes, ideal for producing big & bold Paso Robles wines.
