2023 Cabernet FRANC — 94 Points, Wine Enthusiast, EDITORS’ CHOICE

Here's a Cabernet Franc from Paso Robles that retains varietal character while showing the region's inherent power. Aromas of oregano, thyme, purple flower, and black plum draw in the nose. The palate shows a slightly bitter herbal bite that offsets the rich plum and violet flavors. Matt Kettmann, Wine Enthusiast

CABERNET FRANC

Brady Vineyard Cabernet Franc shows its strength from the start, deep scarlet in the glass with aromas of black cherry, plum, and a hint of cedar. On the palate, it’s rich and textured, with layers of dark fruit, subtle spice, and a touch of oak that rounds it out. A thread of acidity keeps it bright, while savory bramble notes give it depth and edge. Full-bodied yet graceful, it’s a Cabernet Franc with backbone, bold, balanced, and ready to pour.

PAIRINGS

Brady Vineyard Cabernet Franc was made for the table, rich, bold, and built to stand up to flavor. It pairs beautifully with roasted or smoked meats, hearty stews, and dishes with depth. The wine’s dark fruit and savory edge cut through rich sauces and bring out the best in sharp, aged cheeses. Whether poured at a long dinner with friends or served beside a fine meal, this Cabernet Franc holds its ground, balanced, bold, and ready to pour.

The Brady Vineyard is ideally situated for world class viticulture. Located far enough inland from the Pacific Ocean to build heat daily, but still close enough to enjoy the nightly cooling of maritime breezes. Here the vines seek out nutrients and water in the meager rocky soils overlooking the Estrella River. These elements combine to result in rich, fully-ripened grapes, ideal for producing big & bold Paso Robles wines.
